Approaching Women

Author:

Ever found yourself wanting to approach a woman to begin an interaction, but you just didn't know how?

Major excuses guys have:

Excuse # 1: "I don't know what to say..."
Excuse # 2: "She's probably heard all the lines...and beside, I can't think of something original or amazing to sweep her off her feet."

Tell me - Do you really think that you need to sweep a woman off her feet with an amazing opening line in order to be successful?

No.

It is not WHAT you say, but HOW you say it.

Your body language, tonality and 'vibe' are the most important things when you are approaching women.

Don't want to believe that because it sounds too simple? Then do something for me...

STOP for a moment and practice saying the following in at least 4 different ways:

"Hi, I noticed you when I walked in...and I just had to find out what you were like...my name's __________"

After she gives you her name or says something like "Hi", follow it up with something like, "So what's happening?"

Say it:

1. In a nervous way that suggests you're scared of being rejected.
2. With a 'pick up persona' that suggests you're trying to pick her up (e.g. sleazy tonality and body language).
3. With your head slightly tilted to the side, an endearing smile on your face and a bit of a squint in your eyes. For added effect: raise an eyebrow, look her in the eyes and have confident body language. The non-verbal signal you should be aiming to convey here is "I know that you want me...in fact, I'm kind of intrigued myself...let's flirt with each other and see what happens."

Note: For an excellent example of this sort of body language, watch the movie 'Goldfinger' with Sean Connery playing James Bond. Freeze frame the expression Connery gives Honor Blackman (a.k.a. 'Pussy Galore' in the movie) when she looks back after being thrown in the hay. (1h 23min and 55sec into the movie).

4. In a calm, composed and self-assured way that suggests you have NO DOUBT she will be attracted to you. You'll often hear a woman say "I like a man who knows what he wants and isn't afraid to get it."

This is partly what she means.

So, which of the above is correct?

Obviously you'll want to avoid 1 & 2.

I'd suggest blending 3 & 4.

Now, off you go. Go out and approach some women and begin some interactions!

You're still reading.........I guess you want a few more things to say when approaching women.

I'm feeling pretty generous at the moment, so I am going to reveal the way that I got this area handled.

1. Grab a pen and paper/open a new file on your PC.

Go on - do it!

2. Write headings like: Supermarket, Bookstore, Bar, Club, Take-away store, etc. 3. Under each heading note down the SITUATIONS that you often see women in at these PLACES. For example: In a bookstore, you may see a woman reading a book, flicking through a magazine, in line at the counter, in the romance section, having a coffee, etc. 4. For each of the situations you identify, write down at least 3 different comments you could make to begin an interaction.

Think of the situations and places one at a time...

Now, can you PICTURE YOURSELF approaching women to begin interactions in those sorts of places?

Yes?

Good.

All the best.
